Professor of Technology Marketing

The Department of Management, Technology, and Economics at ETH Zurich (www.mtec.ethz.ch) invites applications for the above mentioned position.

The D-MTEC is an interdisciplinary department housing such functions as strategic management, technology and innovation management, entrepreneurship, human resource management, operations and supply chain management, information systems, risk management, and economics. Preference will be given to candidates with experience or research interests in areas compatible with the department's focus on the management of technology, innovation and risk. The candidates must possess the ability to successfully develop this research area on a high international level with relevant research projects. Prior experience in industry and executive education are a strong plus.

This position is at the rank of a full professor in marketing with an emphasis on technology marketing, marketing science, or business-to-business marketing in science-based industries. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in marketing or a related field, an outstanding international research record in the above fields demonstrated through publications in leading journals, a demonstrated commitment to quality graduate and executive teaching, the ability to work with students on real-world projects with business organizations, and the motivation to contribute service to the department. The new professor will be expected to teach undergraduate level courses (German or English) and graduate level courses (English).
