Professor of Statistics



The Department of Mathematics (www.math.ethz.ch<http://www.math.ethz.ch>) at ETH Zurich invites applications for a Full or Associate Professor of Statistics.



We are seeking candidates with an internationally recognized research record in any area of statistics and a proven ability to direct research of high quality with an impact on applications in Natural Sciences or Engineering. The Department of Mathematics and ETH Zurich with its various other departments offer an excellent environment for mathematical, computational, and interdisciplinary research in statistics.



Together with colleagues of the Institute for Statistics and the Department, the new Professor will be expected to teach undergraduate level courses (German or English) and graduate level courses (English) in statistics and mathematics for students of Mathematics, Engineering, and Natural Sciences.
