gesellschaftliche Entwicklungen bewusst reflektiert. Angestrebt wird eine umfassende wissenschaftliche und praxisbezogene Auseinandersetzung mit dem materiellen Kulturerbe. Im ersten Jahr des Bachelor-Studiengangs hält die Professur eine Grundlagenvorlesung,
im Master-Studiengang bietet sie eine vertiefende Vorlesung zur Denkmalpflege an. Weitere Lehrangebote sowie Engagement im Bereich neuer Doktoratsprogramme und Zusammenarbeit mit Entwurfsprofessuren im Rahmen der Semester- und Master-Arbeiten werden erwartet.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

reflects developments in the broader social context. The aim is a comprehensive scientific and practice-based approach to tangible cultural heritage. He or she teaches the first-year foundation course for the undergraduate programme and an in-depth course
for the graduate programme. The new professor is also expected to offer additional courses, to participate in the faculty’s new PhD programmes, and to cooperate with the Chairs of Design with regard to students’ coursework and Master’s projects. The language
of instruction of the first-year foundation course for the undergraduate programme should be German and of the in-depth course for the graduate programme German or English.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

in research and teaching. Further requirements include practical experience of historic preservation with regard to individual monuments or broader urban programmes, either within or in close cooperation with relevant institutions of preservation; experience
of a variety of occupations in diverse areas of the preservation field; and a willingness to foster interdisciplinary exchange and cooperation. Experience of cooperative research projects is advantageous. Solid academic credentials (PhD, teaching qualifications,
