<font size="2" face="sans-serif">An der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Zürich ist zum 1.04.2017 oder nach Vereinbarung die </font><font size="2" face="sans-serif">Professur für Neuropädiatrie </font><font size="2" face="sans-serif">neu zu besetzen. Der Lehrstuhl ist mit der Leitung der Abteilung für Neuropädiatrie am Kinderspital-Eleonorenstiftung Zürich verbunden. </font><br>


<font size="2" face="sans-serif">Sie verfügen über eine Facharztausbildung in Neuropädiatrie mit Habilitation oder Äquivalent sowie über Führungserfahrung. Unabdingbar für diese Stelle ist die Exzellenz in der Krankenversorgung in der Neuropädiatrie, ein hervorragendes wissenschaftliches Profil mit einem Fokus auf neurometabolischen oder neuromuskulären Erkrankungen oder in der Neuroimmunologie sowie ausgewiesener Erfolg in kompetitiver Einwerbung von Drittmitteln. Darüber hinaus haben Sie Erfahrung mit moderner, praxisorientierter Lehre (Aus- und Weiterbildung in Neuropädiatrie) und Nachwuchsförderung. </font><br>


<font size="2" face="sans-serif">Diese Stelle bietet ideale Möglichkeiten zur Stärkung und Ausweitung der Neuropädiatrischen Forschung am Standort Zürich. Daher werden Bereitschaft zur Übernahme von Verantwortung, sowie Bekenntnis zur Interdisziplinarität und aktive Kooperation mit angrenzenden Fächern vorausgesetzt. </font><br>

<font size="2" face="sans-serif">The Faculty of Medicine of the University of Zurich invites applications for the following academic position effective April 1st, 2017: Professorship for Neuropediatrics.</font><br>

<font size="2" face="sans-serif">This position includes the Direction of the Division of Neuropediatrics of the Eleonoren Foundation Children’s Hospital Zurich. </font><br>


<font size="2" face="sans-serif">Applicants are required to be Board certified in Neuropediatrics and have a Habilitation or equivalent degree. They are expected primarily to have extensive clinical expertise and to be internationally recognized for their research on neurometabolic or neuromuscular diseases, or in the field of neuroimmunology, supported by competitive extramural funding. Experience in teaching for students of human medicine and training of MDs using modern, practice-oriented methods should be documented. </font><br>


<font size="2" face="sans-serif">This position offers ideal opportunities to strengthen and expand clinical and research activities in Neuropediatrics in Zurich. Therefore, we are seeking candidates willing to cooperate with existing scientific networks, notably within the Neuroscience Center Zurich, and to foster excellent relations with external hospitals and local referring physicians. </font><br>


<font size="2" face="sans-serif">Fluency in German language is a prerequisite for optimal communication with patients and their family; advanced spoken level is expected or should be acquired shortly after starting in this position. </font><br>
