applications for the above-mentioned professorship. The Department is located in Basel, in the heart of the BioValley area, providing excellent opportunities for collaboration within this strong life science research community at the academic, clinical and
industrial level. Its main research focus is the understanding and engineering of biological systems for medical or chemical purposes, which generates numerous opportunities for interaction. Collaborations within the newly established Personalised Health Platforms
in Basel and Zurich are highly encouraged. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

(including cultured organoids). He or she should have a strong background in molecular cell biology, genetics, tissue development and regeneration and be interested in molecular bioengineering, preferably with cells in a context of complex cell biological
systems. Candidates should have been successful in obtaining support for independent research projects and a strong publication record reflecting innovative, interdisciplinary and collaborative approaches to identify and solve important problems of multicellular
systems. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
