<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif;color:black">Studien zeigen, dass sich Mädchen eine Ausbildung oder einen Beruf in Technik und Informatik oft nicht zutrauen, selbst wenn sie begabt sind. Das neue Förderprogramm «Swiss
TecLadies» möchte dies ändern und Mädchen einen Zugang zu Technik und Informatik ermöglichen. Das Förderprogramm der Schweizerischen Akademie der Technischen Wissenschaften SATW besteht aus zwei Teilen: eine Online-Challenge, die sich an Schülerinnen und Schüler
richtet und ihnen einen spielerischen Zugang zu technischen Themen verschafft sowie ein einjähriges Mentoring-Programm speziell für technisch talentierte Mädchen.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif;color:black">Die Online-Challenge ist ein ausserschulisches Quiz, welches vom 1. März bis zum 31. Mai 2018 gespielt werden kann. Sie besteht aus 15 Missionen zu lebensnahen Themen aus
dem Alltag. Mädchen zwischen 13 und 16 Jahren, die in der Online-Challenge besonders gut abschneiden, können sich anschliessend für das einjährige Mentoring-Programm der SATW qualifizieren. Während dieser Zeit werden die Mädchen von Frauen in technischen und
informatischen Berufen begleitet. Zudem nehmen sie an Besichtigungen, Workshops und Persönlichkeitstrainings teil.
