<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The successful candidate is expected to integrate a broad spectrum of experimental and computational approaches to understand the basis
 of tumor heterogeneity in driving solid and/or hematologic cancers, define how heterogeneity arises and is maintained and shaped by distinct cell types/factors in the microenvironment. As part of her/his research program the successful candidate may also device
 novel therapeutic concepts in the context of cancer formation, evolution and drug resistance, including cellular therapies. Experimental approaches are expected to integrate a variety of methods such as single-cell genomics, lineage tracing and fate-mapping
 techniques as well as establishment of genetically-engineered murine and human tumor models through genome editing.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 engage and contribute to teaching of this key aspect of life/health sciences in the ‘Biology’, ‘Health Sciences and Technology’ and the new ‘Medicine BSc’ curricula. Applicants must have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications
