science. The professorship will provide leadership and innovation in scientific computing for the management and analysis of large patient datasets, with the ultimate aim to develop predictive models to establish best practices in the diagnosis and treatment
planning for individual patients. The establishment of new data science methods for the acquisition, querying and analysis of large datasets is expected to facilitate improved patient care in both the clinic and community setting.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

medical datasets is essential. Demonstrated collaborations with clinicians, researchers and patients to identify user requirements and translate these requirements into solutions with a tangible impact would enhance the applicant's profile.
