Sie oder er vermittelt Grundlagen des Gestaltens und der Kunst und fördert mit einer Vielzahl von konzeptuellen und praktischen Mitteln die Fähigkeit zum kritischen Denken und die Entwicklung der schöpferischen Gestaltungskraft. In der Forschung orientiert sich die neue Professorin bzw. der neue Professor analog zur Lehre am neuesten Stand der Wissenschaft auf dem Gebiet der Kunst, unter Berücksichtigung der Entwicklungen, Einflüsse und Möglichkeiten digitaler Medien.
