Example topics include (but are not limited to): the drivers of emerging plant diseases (e.g., of agricultural crops, trees, and other plants of concern) and/or the ecological and evolutionary dynamics of plant-pathogen dynamics in species or ecosystems of interest (e.g., agricultural systems, forest ecosystems). Candidates applying integrative toolboxes, by combining field and greenhouse experiments or observations, mathematical modelling, and state-of-the-art tools (e.g., genomics, phenotyping, eDNA), would be a perfect fit for the position.
