[Oberon] peculiar type

can benefit from the discussion also.

PPPFSM.Mod contains this declaration.

		ID*, reqID*: SHORTINT;	(* unsigned char *)

A SHORTINT is signed.  Can anyone explain what is 
meant by "unsigned char"?
