[Oberon] Problem with Permedia2 display driver

Finally I tried to switch to a Permedia2 card. When using
DisplayLinear (the selection offered by detect Vesa) it
works ok, but with the Permedia2 driver it starts up,
but then it apparently switches off hsync/vsync (at
least my BNC connected monitor goes into sleep
mode). The serial line trace does not show any
pecularieties and when I blindly try typing something
and middle click, it tries to load something, although
that is very difficult without seeing what I type.

The serial line trace for DisplayLinear and the
Permedia driver is attached.

Does anybody have some idea how to get the driver working ?
