If I can ever get Oberon online that date problem will go away.

The instructions stored within Oberon are wrong because no one
deleted the old ones?

OK. It would be a good idea for me to delete the wrong instructions,
correct?

I'm glad you know all this. I would hate to have to read the
source code trying to find this out the hard way.

Changing this is/was good. Not updating the install not
so good.

I get the out of sync part but not sure how I would've
figured this out without assistance?

I'm learning not to expect the obvious and am anticipating
everything and anything.

No. Was there a note telling me they were available
or is this intended to be intuitive? I wasn't aware that
".Tool"s were to be read.

I'm guessing that you believe the how-to for PPP logging
is within the PPP.Text file and that I will be able to scroll
to the bottom of that page and read all of it?

That was a typo. I meant Native/Oberon/Beta 08.12.00

Good to know that it will work eventually.

I don't recall writing that?

Anyhow, no, I was referring to the fact that the Oberon documentation
is obviously word-wrapped for an 800x600 display but Chapter2.Text
can't be scrolled past the chart of compiler switches if you aren't using
a 1024x768 driver. With the 1024 about 1/3 of the frame is white-space
and the text is very very small. Not good either way really.

I've got a reworked version of wwwboard that I was using at my
website for awhile. I am planning to put it back one of these days.
Maintenance nightmare but the perl code does work. ;-)

Won't be much help to me though. I don't speak German (but am
one half German).

You didn't include the ".de" in your URL, it doesn't work as typed.

When I tried to download the PPP.Tool documentation I get:

Unable to open http://www.edgarschwarz.de/oberon/PPP120.ARC. The site
reports that the item you requested could not be found.

Sometimes I feel I am the only person actually checking this stuff. :-\
