[Oberon] Linux Oberon error

I followed the instructions here
(ftp://ftp.inf.ethz.ch/pub/Oberon/System3/Unix/x86.Linux/Readme.txt) to
install Linux Oberon, however when I try to start it, I get:

martin at thinkpad:~/workdir$ oberon
Oberon Boot File Loader 22.11.2004
starting System.Init
Trace/breakpoint trap
martin at thinkpad:~/workdir$

Any way to fix this?
