[Oberon] Pasting text from Linux to LNO

Happy Thanksgiving Day to all my fellow Canucks!

So...   Can it be done - pasting from Linux to LNO?

BTW, Ive created an "address book" of sorts, using the "mailto" scheme. For example:

Desktops.OpenDoc ^
"mailto:oberon at lists.inf.ethz.ch"

I simply sellect an address, MM the M.P^, and voila, I've got an email template ready to go.
Is there a better way
