OK, I just used the full-feature-browser:

Since rPi seems also to be ape-ing WinTel, by its announced QUAD-CORE,
I'm asking what are the low-wattage consumption ETHO-able systems.

One must consider the total-system consumption; so eg. OLPC placed emphasis
on the display, from the beginning.

a <14 inch I guess> flat-screen-TV shows beautifully via the HDMI cable for
rPi: ALO; and powered by a 12 Volt block-Power-supply probably uses 10 Watt.

OTOH, I was disappointed to note that the surface of 'this' 1920x1280 gets warm.
That implies 50 Watt and more - not good for deep-rural darken-ING Africa.

== Chris Glur.
