Yes! Thanks.
It seems that <Walt Disney like> http has pushed ftp to the back.
The dir shows many MB apparently data files, and no 'top' explanation;
and the project was taken over from the originator, and now seems
abandoned.

Looking at being able to translate only one-line-level
[no subscripts and raised chars] via NW's keep-it-simple:
ETHO already has:
  Math14.Scn.Fnt
  Greek14.Scn.Fnt

So perhaps a simple solution is:
1. extract Latex-section/s from the text-source;
2. use simple translation table [which is evolved by usage];
3. use Edit.ChangeFont  LaTeX14.Scn.Fnt

Where LaTeX14.Scn.Fnt is also evolved by just copying
[with tools that already exist] the fonts from.
 Math14.Scn.Fnt  &   Greek14.Scn.Fnt
and modifying some and adding others.

== Chris Glur.

PS. a fetched *.html-with-embedded-latex
is much improved to your own ETHOversion:
where you can just paste images into,
and color, add, delete text as you use it.

 Instead of like paper, which gets dirty with use,
an ETHO document becomes cleaner [removing noise]
and more intelligent - like a living entity!
