[Oberon] Recognizing dialects.

the sentence "ETH Oberon (formerly System 3, S3) written mostly in 
Oberon with some parts in Oberon-2." 

Is that correct?  Does the linked "Oberon Language Report, Revised 
Edition 1. 10. 90, N. Wirth" specify Oberon-2 or is that Oberon?

With the Oberon languages being formal languages, algorithmic 
recognition of dialect should be possible.  Should be possible to make 
command which reads a source and reports the dialect.  Ambiguity in 
some cases.  Some sources will conform to more than one syntax.  Has 
such a command ever been written?
