Josef Templ ported his Ofront Oberon-2 to C translator to Windows, Linux-i386 and Raspbian. In its description one can read:

'ofront is an Oberon-2 to C translator written in Oberon-2.
It supports both ANSI and K&R style C and supports cross
translation to arbitrary target platforms. ofront includes
a runtime system including an automatic garbage collector
for Linux, the Oberon V4 system, and a set of command-line tools.'

'Use the commands in the bin folder or the script oberon.bash to start up the Oberon V4 system. You may want to look into the included bash script(s) in order to see how the environment variables OFRONT_HOME, OBERON, and LD_LIBRARY_PATH are to be used. This release also contains additional packages from LinzOberon V4 (e.g. Dialogs, Panels, and various so-called Elems).'
