<div dir="ltr">I have the RC MIPS source as well as the JT SPARC source. I think the JT compiler was written after study of the RC compiler. I thought for a while of producing both a SPARC and a MIPS compiler for the Blackbox back end. After quite a bit of reading of both sources and research papers, I think the sources and design thinking are all quite similar. I am just not strong enough to do such a project in isolation.<div><br></div><div><br></div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, Jan 20, 2016 at 10:06 AM, Peter Matthias <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:PeterMatthias@web.de" target="_blank">PeterMatthias@web.de</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex">By the time you can get it there will also be other devices available. Is there an Oberon ARM64 compiler available?<br>
<br>
I am planning to change MIPS OP2 compiler's code generation output to generate ARM64 code, but only for the long term, about when RPi 64 will be available ;-) Too busy/lazy to write the dissassembler first.<br>

There is a 64 bit Kickstarter project that will fund in a day or so. I<br>
don't know if it is relevant to Oberon, I want to mention it so that<br>
someone more qualified might comment.<br>
