Barrelfish users group,
I am trying to understand how OpenMP is being used to test Barrelfish. As I
understand, OpenMP is a shared memory benchmark but Barrelfish uses message
passing. When looking at the NAS OpenMP benchmarks that are provided in the
Barrelfish tarball, I am having a hard time understanding how this shared
memory benchmark works for a message passing OS. Can someone explain what
modifications were made to the existing NAS benchmarks to make them work
for Barrelfish? Or at the very least guide me to any relevant documentation?
Thank you,
Shawn Furrow
