[Barrelfish-users] Help about RCM subsystem

I’ve just read Kaveh Razavi’s thesis “Performance isolation on multicore hardware”, and interested in the work of performance isolation in an operating system.
I want to test the RCM subsystem and do some research with the bandwidth isolation of the memory controller, so I wonder if anyone could provide more information about the subsystem?
Besides, I have some questions about RCM:

1.How did you use the performance counter registers in Barrelfish? Dose it refer to the performance counter in Intel chips?
2.Is there a patch I can use to add the RCM subsystem into Barrelfish to do some test?
