Dear all

I have installed libghc6-ghc-paths-dev_0.1.0.5-1build1_i386.deb and ghc6_6.10.4-1ubuntu2_i386.deb, but still got the same error:-

<command line>: unknown package: ghc-paths

I'm using ubuntu 9.04 (32 bit version). My processor is Intel core 2 duo P7350 (it has a 64 bits instruction set). Should I use ubuntu version for 64 bits or this has nothing to do with the error? and if not, what could be the solution?
I would suggest installing the ghc-paths package.

How to do this depends on your distribution, for example on Ubuntu it is called libghc6-ghc-paths-dev.
Hi,

It looks like you're trying to build in the source tree. Please
follow the
instructions in the included README file for an out-of-source build.

Also, it looks like you're building the oldest (first) released
version of
Barrelfish, I'd suggest trying the newer release, although this
should still
build if you have the required tools and follow the instructions.

Regards,
Andrew
