Women Innovators Connected

On Thursday, 17. April 2008, a Networking Event will take place in Glasgow, Scotland.  The event is open to women scientists, female entrepreneurs and networks who are interested in international cooperation and would like to get to establish new European contacts. Through an exciting mix of keynote speeches, panel discussions with audience participation and "speed networking" we are confident of offering you the opportunity to exchange ideas, reflect on different view points and meet others from the scene with whom you may cooperate in the future.

The keynote and motivational speech will be delivered by Marie-Noëlle Barton, former Director of the WISE Women into Science an Engineering network. She provides a thought provoking contribution under the heading "What's stopping you?" And, learning from the workshops and regional networks that have been meeting over the course of the project in the partner regions (Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany, Scotland) participants from science and industry will use the speednetworking session to start talking about concrete project ideas. Kissing with Confidence will facilitate the networking session.
