[Equal] Invitation to a "Career Café" & discussion groups with female role models, 26.1.12 in Berne

Dear young scientists

If you are interested in meeting female role models in scientific career and discuss with them in small groups, join the Career Café in Berne!
We are pleased to send to you the invitation for this concluding event of the actual round of "Fix the leaky pipeline!", a career-building program for women in science. The Career Café will take place in the afternoon of January 26th, 2012 in Berne at UniS (near the main train station), 13h30 until 17h followed by an aperitif.

You will have the opportunity to meet and discuss with female role models: professors of ETH-Domain and University of Applied Sciences, a researcher in a company and a member of the Swiss educational policy management.
 The guests are:
- Prof. Dr. Beatrice Amrhein, Berne University of Applied Sciences (Lecturer MAS-IT, PhD in Mathematics, ETHZ)
- Prof. Dr. Carlotta Guiducci, EPFL (Assistant Professor tenure track, Bioengineering)
- Prof. Dr. Kathryn Hess, EPFL (Full Professor for Mathematics and Geometry)
- Ms Karen Robins, Lonza Visp (Research position in industry, Master in Science, Biopharmaceuticals)
- Prof. Dr. Viola Vogel, ETHZ (Full Professor at the Department of Health Sciences and Technology)
- Dr. Martina Weiss, Secretary General, Swiss University Conference SUK (Higher Education Policy Management, PhD in Microbiology, ETHZ)

The event will be conducted by Dr. Pamela Alean.
