Professur für Physikalische Chemie

Am Laboratorium für Physikalische Chemie des Departements Chemie und Angewandte Biowissenschaften der ETH Zürich (www.chab.ethz.ch<http://www.chab.ethz.ch/>) ist eine Professur für Physikalische Chemie zu besetzen.

Das Forschungsgebiet sollte die Charakterisierung und das Studium der Materie auf atomarer und molekularer Ebene mit spektroskopischen oder mikroskopischen Methoden einschließlich der Einzelmolekülspektroskopie und der Nanooptik sein. In der Lehre wird eine Beteiligung am Unterricht auf allen Gebieten der physikalischen Chemie von einführenden bis zu fortgeschrittenen Vorlesungen erwartet.

Professor of Physical Chemistry

The Laboratory of Physical Chemistry of the Department of Chemistry and Applied Biosciences at ETH Zurich (www.chab.ethz.ch) invites applications for the position mentioned above.

The applicant's research field should preferably focus on the characterization and study of matter at the atomic and molecular level with spectroscopic or microscopic methods including studies at the single-molecule level and nano-optics. Responsibilities include teaching in all areas of physical chemistry. The new professor will be expected to teach undergraduate level courses (German or Eng­lish) and graduate level courses (English).
