Guten Tag

An der Universität Zürich findet am 2. und 3. November 2011 die
internationale Konferenz "Changing Research Careers" statt, welche die
geschlechtergerechte Nachwuchsförderung an Hochschulen diskutiert. Es
können auch einzelne Teile besucht werden. Die Konferenz wird in
englischer Sprache abgehalten. Anmeldung ist nach wie vor möglich unter
http://www.crus.ch/information-programme/chancengleichheit/konferenzen.html

Switzerland, as well as all other European countries in the EU and beyond,
faces the particular problem that women are conspicuosly under-represented
in the upper echelons of academia. Addressing this issue is important to
prevent the loss of talent and potential for innovation and to guarantee
fairness, non-discrimination and equal opportunities.
