Ausschreibung: SNF-Förderungsprofessuren

Der Schweizerische Nationalfonds (SNF) ermöglicht mit dem Programm der SNF-Förderungsprofessuren exzellenten jungen Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftlern, die eine akademische Laufbahn anstreben und eine mehrjährige ausgewiesene Forschungserfahrung vorweisen können, einen bedeutenden Karriereschritt

Nächste Ausschreibung: 2. Februar 2013
Nächster Eingabetermin: 2. Mai 2013
Beitragsbeginn: frühestens 1. März 2014

Die Beitragsdauer beträgt vier Jahre und kann um maximal zwei Jahre verlängert werden. Frauen sind besonders aufgefordert, sich zu bewerben. Teilzeitprofessuren und Ausnahmen beim akademischen Alter sind möglich.

Teilnahmebedingungen

  *   Doktorat
  *   Publikationen in hochrangigen Zeitschriften
  *   mindestens zwei bis maximal neun Jahre Forschungserfahrung nach dem Doktorat
  *   mehrjähriger Forschungsaufenthalt an anderen Institutionen als dem Ort der Promotion, davon mindestens ein Jahr im Ausland
  *   schweizerischer Hochschulabschluss oder mindestens zweijährige Tätigkeit an einer Schweizer Hochschule zum Zeitpunkt des Eingabetermins

Call for proposals: SNSF Professorships


With the SNSF Professorships, the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) enables excellent junior researchers with several years of recognized research experience and wishing to perform an academic career to make a significant step forward.

Next call for applications: 2 February 2013
Next submission deadline: 2 May 2013
Start of the grant: 1 March 2014 at earliest

The duration of this grant is four years and can be extended by a maximum of two years. Women are especially encouraged to submit applications. Part-time professorships and exceptions from the academic age may be considered.

Conditions of participation

  *   Doctorate
  *   Publications in high-level journals
  *   Postdoctoral research experience of no less than two years and no more than nine years
  *   Several years of research activities at institutions other than where the candidate obtained the doctorate, generally including at least one year abroad
  *   Swiss university degree or at least two years of activity at a Swiss university at the time of the submission deadline
