We have the honour to welcome Physics Professor Eric Mazur<http://mazur.harvard.edu/> from Harvard at the ETH Zürich. Since he began teaching he wondered how to teach in order to get the students to learn the right thing or even more, to get them to engage in the classroom. Eventually he also had to consider gender differences in teaching<http://mazur.harvard.edu/research/detailspage.php?ed=1&rowid=9>. Over the years he improved his teaching methods so that he got awarded many education prizes such as the Minerva Prize for Advancements in Higher Education.
