The Draw-a-Scientist test is a classic regarding the topic women in Science and the stereotypes they face (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draw-a-Scientist_Test)

Fermilab (Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory USA) used this test in an event with seventh grade kids to document their picture of a "scientist" before and after meeting scientists. Conclusion: Stereotypes about scientist are the same as in the 70ies but they can be changed...
