On behalf of the Dean' Office of the Faculty of Medicine I am pleased to
announce the Anna Fischer-Dückelmann Visiting Professorship.

Description
The Visiting Professorship aims at drawing the attention of young female
medical doctors to management functions in medicine and encourages their
pursuit of management education. The position is financed by the EMBA
Program of the UZH Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and
Information Technology and the Faculty of Medicine, and will be located at
the UZH Faculty of Medicine. The female visiting professor will be a
faculty member at the Faculty of Medicine for one semester. During her
stay, she will organize several workshops and seminars for female master,
doctoral, and post-doc students. In addition, she will teach in the medical
field for two hours each week. CHF 50,000 will be provided for the
professorship.

The successful candidate is a professor in a medical department or
institute. She is expected to have executive ability, gender know-how and
experience in promoting young academics’ careers as well as mentoring in
medicine.

Duration
September 14, 2015 – December 19, 2015 or February 22, 2016 – June 4, 2016
