Professor of Computational Mechanics of Materials
The Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (www.baug.ethz.ch<http://www.baug.ethz.ch>) at ETH Zurich invites applications for the above-mentioned position.
The professorship covers the field of computational modelling of building materials. The focus should be on the analysis of the specific structural and chemical features as well as mechanical and interfacial properties of porous hybrid materials by cross-scale modelling approaches that are centred at the microstructural level, but interlink the molecular and the macroscopic scale. Candidates should hold a PhD in computational science, materials science, or materials engineering and have a strong engineering background. In addition, commitment to teaching undergraduate level courses (German or English) and graduate level courses (English) is expected.
Please apply online: www.facultyaffairs.ethz.ch<http://www.facultyaffairs.ethz.ch>
