[Equal] Invitation to "Leadership in Perspective"

Equal!, the Office of Equal Opportunities, will be hosting the sixth lecture in its series “Leadership in Perspective” on 11 December 2019 at 6.15 p.m. in the Student Project House (HPZ F Floor, ETH Hönggerberg) to which we are pleased to invite you. The current lecture focuses on the topic of “ETH Spin-offs - Where are the Women?”.

The Gender Monitoring Report 2018/19 has a special focus on female entrepreneurship at ETH Zürich. Founding a company is one way to become a successful leader. But there are very few female spin-off founders  at ETH Zürich (<10%). Why do not more ETH Zürich women become entrepreneurs? Stefanie Flückiger and Séverine Chardennens have successfully founded an ETH Zürich spin-off. Anaïs Sägesser, Co-Founder of the Un-School for Entrepreneurship, has advised many startup founders.  In their talks they will share insights on what it needs to be a founder and entrepreneur. Marjan Kraak from ETH Transfer will join the panel of speakers to discuss factors fostering or impeding female entrepreneurship.

The talks and the panel discussion will be accompanied by a mini-fair of agents offering advice to budding entrepreneurs.
