Ummmm...Chris you're the only one arguing, so you
can "rest" anytime you want. *rolleyes*
Do you want to whine or do you want to fix your
problems? I honestly don't care either way.
If you want to fix your problem, go back and read
what was posted in comp.lang.oberon back in 2002.
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/comp.lang.oberon/browse_frm/thread/ad2f92acd6d01096/e6dbef3014d4b353?q=PPP+RFC+group:comp.lang.oberon&_done=%2Fgroups%3Fas_q%3DPPP+RFC%26safe%3Doff%26as_ugroup%3Dcomp.lang.oberon%26lr%3D%26hl%3Den%26&_doneTitle=Back+to+Search&&d#e6dbef3014d4b353
If you're still having problems with "Google
strings" then do an advanced search in Google
groups for Newsgroup: comp.lang.oberon with
keywords "ppp escape".
One more time, you can escape the string
for "NetSystem.SetUser" then include a
command to unescape it INSIDE the
NetSystem.SetUser procedure. Then it
doesn't matter what special charecter
your goofy ISP throws in your userID.
Also it doesn't matter whether or not
your ISP unescapes your code, because
NetSystem will have already done
it. You've got the source code. The
fix you needed was posted over 2 years
ago. If you want to argue about it
you'll have to do that by yourself.
