Will the Ftp transparent file system mentioned in section 2.6 of
AosSetup.Text help? It is not symmetric, you only "get" and never "put."
I never did find documentation for RFS, so I implemented FTP. If someone
has a URL, post it and I'll eventually read up on it.
You can download the file ftp://FtpFS.Dsk from gaea.vima.austin.tx.us, with
username "booter" and your email as a password. This bootable floppy image
should be able to boot a machine across the net from my machine.
Please edit the startup environment so that your login password is
authentic. Another file, ftp://AosFtpFS.Tool contains some language that I
am editing, but which may nonetheless be useful.
(Note to Thomas, I just did a "dir FtpFS.Dsk" with the configuration I
emailed to you, and trapped the Ftp Server. I shortened the volume name to
be just "Rd:" and things worked ok on 1 test.)
