It's right.

Or some people will rob 'commercial OS' or just install free variant
of commercial Linux..

Language - OS hybrid, research system isn't solution on Market!
All it's predecessors die for market.
(May be, may be .. Elegancy is not leak...)
It is solution only for self-motivated (and diligent)Mans!
Try think, why the Windows win? Why nearly nobody except ETH's not use
Pascal's line tools in every day work? People wishn't even study by
Pascal-Modula-Oberon...swot C++/Linux, work Java/VB/Windows...
Only enterprise, which can lift full lifecycle of soft, can
develop subject!( Blackbox, XDS etc.)
JJ> My big question is, what are the licensing
It's very important and timely question.
Licence of Oberon and BB contain disclaimer only, so (I'm think) You free
sell it for Your own risk without any mention of the ETH.
But what about Oberon and BB? I'm think they not protected against
patenting etc., and I'm request to Muller, Frey, or any legal person from ETH
for update licence of BB to GPL or proprietary ( with free source
spreading, of course). Without strong licence selling (including) is not
desirable.
