More specific information about the ACS ide-cf 
adapter:  This adapter has conductors only 
between the IDE ribbon and the CF.  The devices  
on the adapter board are only to run the LEDs.
ACS tech support insists that "hot plugging" 
the CF is bad practice, as hot plugging a hdd is.

Other adapters and devices, such as cameras, could
have filtering to protect the CF when hot plugged 
or could have a latch to prevent hot plugging.
Perhaps hot plugging any CF reduces the life and 
most users are oblivious.

In any case, if ACS tech support is correct, 
"removable" is inappropriate here.

I'll continue to work on ATAdisks.Mod.
