[Oberon] Re^n: Aos 2.6.06: "AosDiskVolumes: no devices"

Fri, 16 Jun 2006 I reported the failure of 
Aos 2.6.06 on this machine where NO works 
routinely.  The board is an Asus SP97-V 
---very common a few years ago.  Does anyone 
have this release working on a similar system?

I tried an old IDE controller in one of 
the ISA sockets.  With the drive connected,
the BIOS reports failure of the boot disk.

Next will burn a CD and try to boot from 
that.  Can also spend a few hours installing
an AHA-2940 and SCSI drive and try to boot 
from that.

Does anyone know of a BIOS parameter 
setting which might be causing this problem?
