Debian provides all the tools I need outside of Oberon 
and Aos.  In many instances the Debian software is better.
objdump for example can disassemble code for most, if 
not all, Intel architectures and for other machines as well.

Also, Debian, Oberon and Aos don't impose severe 
hardware requirements as these commercial systems do.
