Any adapter such as those you cited, from a vendor with an 
intention to continue in business and a reputation to customers 
is more likely to be reliable.

The adapter I tested was an inexpensive unbranded thing purchased 
via eBay.  I mentioned it for readers who aren't aware that an 
adapter can ruin a mouse.  

Conversely, I use two inexpensive USB-SDHC adapters with no problems.  
Inexpensive doesn't necessarily mean bad.
