FWIIW, just installed in Debian Wheezy from olr150430.tgz and 
gadgets150430.tgz.  Everything described in http://oberon.dyndnss.net/ 
and in System.Text works.  X works here and /dev/fb0 exists; I 
don't know which is used by Oberon but it certainly works nicely.

Mail.Panel doesn't work.  Presumably among the apps in progress.
