So then, isn't NO's global font-size determined by the initial [?
Oberon0] setting,
and that's where it should be set ?
In the 90's when all displays were 640x480 the default setting [for DOS 80 x25]
was OK?

BTW I don't think many users know about "vbox", so your advice
shouldn't be based
on vbox.
