This relates to N.S's query about ETHO being able to read/write in ASCII.
All ETHO systems that I know can read/write can read/write in the
host's text format,
in the directory/partition of the ETHO-system.
Only [AFAIK] LEO can read/write to ANY partition of the file-tree.
What's the big advantage of simulating a single clipboard,
instead of having [in LEO syntax]:
EditTools.OpenUnix cb1 ..... EditTools.StoreUnix cbN.
