[Oberon] General - Academic vs Commercial applications

I have come across a few interesting links on Oberon, applied in
practice, traditionally of academic or even commercial use.

Would anyone have some experience, can kindly explain here in brief?

Also I miss a central link to AOS as a continuation of Oberon systems at
ETH University faculty of informatics.
