Not necessarily. You either need to write an Oberon-2 back end for 
RISC-5 or change the Gadgets code to Oberon-07.

I would not say that Gadgets has many bugs. However, its quite complex.

I don't know about BB, just a thought, if there were a windows manager 
in PO, would a port of BB be feasible?
