The originators <at PARC - AFAIK> are no fools.
Nor the originators of unix, who later declared that Plan9 was the improved
*nix, which copied the esential PARC / ETHO HCI.
As I previously wrote: the public-domain version of Plan9's Acme,
reversed the mouse-scrolling-direction key in his `wily` - public domain Acme.
There's perhaps a Ph.D theses on the PARC design?
