In S3 and in the Oberon subsystem of A2 (*), ET.Open VNC.Tool .

A machine needs more than 1 MB of memory to allow niceties 
(high-res color display & etc.)  S3 succeeded in operating DRAM.  
Correct?  So the solution to several problems is evident: spend effort 
to develop support for DRAM or spend money on SRAM or spend time 
waiting for PGAs with more BRAM.  Correct?

According to 
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Static_random-access_memory#Contemporary_SRAM_Devices
a 2 MB SRAM with asynchronous interface is available.

Put 4 or 8 of these beasts on RiskFive and you have 8 or 16 MB.  
Correct? As you stated, hardware cost is negligible in comparison to 
the time people pour into software.  Correct?
