Another side comment: The method of “guessing and forward reading" is faster than
"backward reading” even in the case where CopyBlock is used optimally.

If one wanted to make "backward reading" fast enough, it would need to be
incorporated directly in the base modules Files and Texts (where one can
optimize things like file buffer allocation and piece list management).

But that ain't gonna happen any time soon (even though the code to
achieve that is not all that complex).
