Those copies of WinAOS are working fine.
The ones at
http://cas.inf.ethz.ch/projects/a2
https://svn-dept.inf.ethz.ch/svn/lecturers/a2/trunk/
are not working properly.
For Linux version of AOS/A2 it was the same, I could not run any from that,
but from copies at
http://www.informatik.uni-bremen.de/~fld/UnixAos/
does work without problems.
For the old instructions of ETH site I find in archive:
https://web.archive.org/web/20191029162415/http://www.ocp.inf.ethz.ch/wiki/Documentation/Installation
But maybe it is outdated.
