Deleted oberon-1.7.02 completely.

Copied oberon-1.7.02.tar.gz to /usr/local/ and verified ownership 
root:root.  

Installed again working as root in an LXTerminal rather than in a 
telnet terminal in LinuxAos.

After minimal trial use, no problems observed.  =8~)

(Hypothesis concerning previously observed traps: installed files 
were owned peter:user rather than root:root. Not intentionally of 
course.)

With any luck, the traps are gone.  

Trivial practical question: MM on the button labeled "$" opens this 
list or Text.

What is the significance of the "$" character?
Ie. what is the significance of $Wxyz compared to Wxyz?
